The format is the best of 5 legs 501 bull to start and bull for the fifth leg if one is required.
The England National Singles is a member’s only event and is open to all Players who are regular playing members of a Super League under a current member England County that is a fully paid up member of the England Darts Organisation and is eligible to play under the Rules of the BDO, EDO and the County where their membership is registered.
This is a BDO Invitation list event and is only open to those players who are Eligible to play in the Winmau World Masters and the Lakeside World Professional Championships.
The county play-off puts the qualifying player(s) into the England National Singles to be played at Stockport Football Club on Saturday 18 July 2009.
NOTE:
1 PLAYER WILL QUALIFY FOR THE ENGLAND NATIONAL SINGLES FROM EACH GROUP OF 8 PLAYERS ENTERED. THE COST TO ENTER THAT 1 PLAYER IS £32. THE ENTRY FEE HAS BEEN SET TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE CONTRIBUTION TO TRAVEL COSTS FOR THE QUALIFYING PLAYER (S).
THIS MEANS AT LEAST 8 PLAYERS NEED TO ENTER IN ORDER FOR 1 PLAYER TO QUALIFY.

MEN’S & LADIES COUNTY PLAY-OFF
SATURDAY 20 JUNE 2009
AT SAMS 12 NOON REGISTRATION 1PM START
ENTRY FEE £7 - YOUTHS FREE
Playing Format: 501 best of 3 sets 3 legs a set for the Men, 501 best of 7 legs for the Ladies, 501 best of 5 legs for the Youth.
Qualifiers to regional play-offs: 4 Men, 4 ladies and 4 youths.
The regional play-offs will be carried out over the weekend 1/2 August in the North East, North West , South East and South West Venues for these events will be communicated shortly to County secretaries. THIS IS THE SAME WEEKEND AS THAT SCHEDULED FOR THE REGIONAL PLAY-OFFS IN THE CHAMPIONS CUP.
Note:
There must be at least 8 ladies entries to be viable and to conduct the county play-off,
Please note the day and date of the above county play-offs have been set, as far as is possible and practicable, taking into account the following:
• both the men’s and ladies super league fixtures do not finish until May.
• popular local and other open competitions already included in the BDO diary dates.
